Not sure where to start?

Occupational therapy supports people of all ages with the everyday skills that build independence. For children that might be fine motor, sensory or self-care skills and keeping up at school; for adults it might be daily living tasks, returning to work or study, or equipment to support independence. If any of that sounds familiar, a telehealth OT assessment is a good place to start

Our occupational therapists provide flexible, accessible support by secure telehealth, so you can access personalised care no matter where you are in Australia. With our therapy and support teams working closely together, you can combine occupational therapy, speech pathology and/or positive behaviour support to suit your needs

Telehealth occupational therapy is OT support delivered remotely via video call, covering everyday skills, home safety, sensory needs, and other goals. It follows the same clinical process as an in-person session, just delivered from wherever suits you, whether that’s home, school, or work.

Telehealth is a genuine delivery option. Many everyday skills, strategies and assessments can be worked through effectively over video, and for participants outside a major centre, it often means faster access without the wait or travel. Your therapist will let you know if a particular goal is better suited to an in-person or hybrid approach.

Many of our reports and assessments, including Initial Assessments and Functional Capacity Assessments, can be completed via telehealth. Some, such as those involving a physical review of your home, may need an in-person or on-site component. Your therapist will confirm the right approach for your specific report.

Yes. We support participants of all ages via telehealth, from young children through to adults, matching you with a therapist experienced in your area of need.

Just a device with a camera and a stable internet connection, whether that’s a laptop, tablet or smartphone. We’ll send you a secure video link ahead of your session, and your therapist will guide you through anything else needed on the day.

Occupational therapy, including telehealth sessions, is commonly funded under NDIS plans, often within Capacity Building supports. The exact funding depends on your plan and goals, and your support coordinator or planner can help confirm what’s available to you.

No formal referral is needed. You can submit your own referral directly through our online referral page, and our team will take it from there.

Once your referral is submitted, one of our therapists will be in touch within 48 hours to arrange next steps.
