When to Seek Psychology Support
Mental health and emotional challenges aren’t always easy to put into words, and it isn’t always clear when to reach out. If you or someone you support is noticing any of the following, talking to a psychologist may be a good place to start:
- Ongoing anxiety, worry, or low mood
- Difficulty managing emotions or big reactions
- Withdrawal from school, work, or social connection
- Trouble coping with change, grief, or a difficult experience
- Challenges with self-esteem, identity, or relationships
- Emotional or behavioural changes linked to autism, ADHD, or disability
Psychology support looks different for everyone. A first session is simply a chance to talk things through and work out what might help
Our Psychology Services
Whether you’re looking for ongoing therapy or a psychological assessment to support an NDIS plan, we tailor our approach to each participant’s goals and stage of life. Explore the support that fits, or start a referral and we’ll match you with the right psychologist
Psychology Therapy
Our psychologists provide one-on-one therapy for children, adolescents and adults, drawing on evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT). Sessions focus on what matters most to the participant, whether that’s managing anxiety, processing a difficult experience, building emotional regulation, or developing healthier coping strategies. We work at each person’s pace, in person at our Robina clinic or via telehealth
Psychological Assessments
A psychological assessment can give the NDIS a clearer picture of a participant’s needs and the supports that will help. Our psychologists complete cognitive, diagnostic and functional assessments that can support plan reviews, funding requests, and access to the right services. Each assessment includes a clear, practical report written with the participant’s goals in mind
