Paediatrics
During her time as an Occupational Therapist, Amanda has found her passion working with children and their families to support them to build capacity and independence using a play- based approach. She enjoys incorporating a child’s interests and elaborating on play activities in order to create learning opportunities to reach their goals. She has experience in working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder, Down syndrome, ADHD, and a range of other disabilities. Amanda has also engaged in ongoing professional development with a targeted interest in the Early Start Denver Model (ESDM) and enjoys applying their principles into her therapy sessions.
Report Writing
Amanda is experienced in completing a variety of assessments and is proficient in writing client-centered and goal-oriented reports. She understands the vital nature of completing assessments efficiently and accurately and seeks to exceed the expectations of both participants and support coordinators.
