Erin - Behaviour Support Practitioner

I am a compassionate and person-centred practitioner with a Bachelor of Psychology and a Bachelor of Criminology and Criminal Justice. My practice is grounded in early childhood intervention, behaviour support, and family-focused approaches that prioritise connection, collaboration, and meaningful, lasting change. I am passionate about supporting neurodivergent children, young people, and their families through evidence-based and practical strategies that build on their unique strengths

Experience

Erin is a compassionate and collaborative practitioner with a Bachelor of Psychology and a Bachelor of Criminology and Criminal Justice. She brings extensive experience across early childhood intervention, residential youth care, psychosocial disabilities and behaviour support within the NDIS.

Her practice spans delivering play-based early intervention for children with developmental delays, supporting young people with complex needs in out-of-home care, and providing behaviour support to individuals across the lifespan. Erin is known for her ability to build rapport quickly, translate complex clinical concepts into simple and actionable strategies, and work closely with support teams, families, and other professionals to ensure a consistent and cohesive approach.

Erin is dedicated to ensuring behaviour support is accessible, collaborative, and grounded in the real-life needs of each person. She values clear communication, strong relationships, and empowering families and teams to understand behaviour and implement positive, person-centred strategies.

Training

Erin holds a Certificate III in Children’s Services, providing her with foundational knowledge in early childhood development and play-based rapport-building. She has previously been registered as a Registered Behaviour Technician (RBT), giving her practical experience in implementing ABA-based interventions under the supervision of BCBAs. Throughout her career, Erin has delivered parent training, staff training, behaviour assessments, and capacity-building interventions using evidence-based practices.
