Paediatrics
Brenna is passionate about working with children of varying ages and abilities, embracing a holistic, family-centred, and occupation-centred approach to maximise meaningful engagement in occupation for children, and genuine therapeutic partnerships with their families, supports, and stakeholders.
Approach To Practice
Utilising an individualised, client-centred, and strengths-based approach to supporting and children and their families when developing goals, and implementing and evaluating evidence-based therapeutic interventions are at the core of Brenna’s practice principles.
Experience
Brenna has had experience in a range of practice education settings, including but not limited to private NDIS, paediatrics, community-based, QLD health, and CYMHS mental health (inpatient/acute). She has worked with a wide range of individuals of different ages, diagnoses, and abilities.
Throughout practice education and working as an OTA, Brenna has had experience supporting children with ASD, PDA, Down Syndrome, ADHD, FASD, and GDD as well as a range of other diagnoses. Brenna places value on a child-led approach throughout therapy and values the dynamic, unique needs of every child and their families.
