Paediatrics
Tenzin specialises in working with children, with a focus on emotional regulation and social skills development. Tenzin’s practice is family-centred and evidence-based, creating fun and meaningful interventions to support engagement in daily activities. Tenzin works closely with families, caregivers, and stakeholders to build strong therapeutic partnerships, ensuring that therapy aligns with the child’s goals and maximises their potential.
Adolescents
Tenzin has experience working with teenagers to address challenges in emotional regulation, social interactions, and daily living skills. Tenzin’s approach is collaborative and strengths-based, empowering adolescents to build confidence and independence in their home, work school, and community environments.
Adults
Tenzin focuses on facilitating occupation-based goal setting, implementing evidence-based interventions, and promoting emotional well-being and independence. Tenzin prioritises client-centred care, ensuring that therapy aligns with each individual’s unique needs and goals.
Approach to Practice
Utilising a client-centred collaborative approach, tailoring interventions to meet each individual’s unique needs and goals, and working closely with families, caregivers, and stakeholders to ensure a supportive and effective therapeutic process is at the core of Tenzin’s practice principles.
Experience
Tenzin has experience supporting children and adolescents with emotional regulation and social skills development. Tenzin has also worked with individuals ongoing to support them and their progressing developmental milestones. Working with a broad range of clients Tenzin has had experience with working with individuals diagnosed with ASD, FASD, GDD, trauma-based delays, ADHD, Gene disorders and intellectual disabilities.
Lifestyle
Outside of work, Tenzin enjoys a good book, playing board games and video games with friends as well as staying active through sports like netball and volleyball.
