Paediatrics

Emma is passionate about empowering children and families through skill- building, creativity, and connection. Emma works with children of varying ages and abilities, embracing a holistic, family-centred approach to increase meaningful engagement in occupation for children and build genuine therapeutic partnerships with their families, supports, and stakeholders.

Approach to Practice

Emma’s approach to practice is grounded in empathy and collaboration, with consideration for the lived experiences of the clients and their families. She prioritises client-centred care and active listening to understand individuals’ functional capacity and their therapeutic goals to tailor interventions specific to the individual to support meaningful participation in daily life.

Experience

Emma has extensive experience in the NDIS & private practice space and has worked with a wide range of individuals of different ages, diagnoses, and abilities. Emma has supported individuals with ASD, ADHD, FASD, GDD, ID, Down syndrome & other genetic disorders, CP, trauma histories, and mental health conditions to achieve developmental milestones and increase engagement in daily living activities.

Report Writing

Emma understands the importance of accurate, client-centred reports and the role these reports play in providing all stakeholders with vital information as well as achieving positive funding outcomes.
