Laura has experience in managing diverse caseloads across the lifespan, in a variety of practice settings including community outreach, schools, private practice, and in the home. She enjoys working closely her participants enabling them to meet their goals as well and build their health, confidence, independence and wellbeing. Laura is passionate about incorporating evidence-based practice advocating on behalf of the needs of her participants.
Paediatrics & Adolescents
Laura finds fulfilment in working with young people and their families to support them in building capacity, confidence and independence through a play-based approach. She is an advocate for utilising her participants interests and passions in collaboration with play-based therapy to create practical learning opportunities aligning with achieving their goals.
Adults
Laura is passionate about supporting those with neurodivergence, intellectual disability, psychosocial disabilities and musculoskeletal impairments to engage in in-home and community-based tasks that are fulfilling and promote increased independence.
Report Writing
Laura is adept in completing a variety of standardised and non- standardised assessments and is proficient in writing client-centred and goal-oriented reports. She understands the importance of completing assessments competently and accurately to facilitate effective outcomes and aims to exceed the expectations of both her participants and their support networks.
