Experience
Sam brings a diverse range of experience across practice settings, including:
- Paediatrics and Adolescents: As an OTA and OT, supported individuals with ASD, ADHD, FASD, GDD, trauma histories, and mental health conditions to achieve developmental milestones and participate in daily living activities.
- Adult Mental Health: Worked in an acute inpatient mental health ward at Canberra’s main hospital, where he delivered group programs, provided one-on-one interventions, and assisted with discharge planning.
- Practice Education Settings: Experience spanning paediatrics, adolescent and adult mental health, physical rehabilitation, private practice, and ACT Health settings.
Approach to Practice
Sam takes a client-centred, occupation-focused approach that prioritises collaboration with clients, their families, and other stakeholders such as teachers, therapists, and other NDIS providers. His practice is rooted in meeting clients where they are, building trust, and tailoring interventions to ensure meaningful progress and outcomes.
