I am a certified Speech Pathologist and practising member of Speech Pathology Australia. I completed a Bachelor of Speech Pathology (Honours) at University of Newcastle. I am ambitious in supporting people of all ages to help enhance their swallowing and communication skills in order to promote health and well-being and increase their quality of life and level of community involvement

Brenda is passionate in working with children and adults with swallowing and communication difficulties. She has worked in various settings including acute care and rehabilitation hospital, aged care facility, online telehealth services, public schools, preschools, playgroups, university clinics and allied health practices. Brenda has a particular interest in adult dysphagia and voice disorders
Assessment & Treatment
Brenda is experienced in providing clinical services in areas of swallowing, speech, language, Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC), voice, social communication, and literacy difficulties. She recognises the benefits of collaborating with patients, their families, healthcare professionals, and other multidisciplinary team members to develop individualised treatment plans that enhance patient’s engagement and independence in daily activities
