Emma

I am a Gold Coast based Speech Pathologist. I completed my Bachelor of Speech Pathology at Southern Cross University and have had the opportunity to deliver services to paediatric and adult caseloads. I value holistic care and recognise the positive therapeutic impact of providing individualised person-centred and family-centred care.

Paediatric & Adult Speech Therapy

Emma has experience supporting paediatric and adult clients presenting with speech, language, swallowing, and communication difficulties. She is passionate about supporting clients to achieve their goals and transfer these skills across daily environments to maximise their quality of life. She has worked within a variety of settings such as aged care facilities, Supported Independent Living, online telehealth services, schools, kindergartens, clinic sessions, and home-based therapy.

Emma’s passion for speech pathology has been shaped by earlier career pathway and motivation to support others and contribute to positive learning environments. In the 6 years prior to becoming a speech pathologist, Emma worked as an Allied Health Assistant and Support Worker where she had the opportunity to support children with complex communication needs within the home, school, and community.
