Jack Pscyhologist

I believe in taking the clinical feeling of intervention out of the therapy room, choosing to prioritise the therapeutic relationship to support, guide, and collaborate with clients to create a better quality of life.

Supporting individuals in:

Experience

Jack is a Provisional Psychologist whose professional journey has been shaped by early experiences in youth basketball coaching and disability social support. These roles helped him develop a strong foundation in working with individuals across a broad range of presentations, with a focus on evidence-based and strengths- oriented practice.

Jack’s early professional experience involved providing NDIS-funded social support to neurodiverse individuals and clients living with post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). In this role, he supported clients to build skills in emotional regulation, problem-solving, and communication, with a strong emphasis on enhancing independence and quality of life. These experiences laid a solid foundation for his transition into clinical psychology practice.

Jack’s therapeutic approach is grounded in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT). He is passionate about making therapy practical, approachable, and relevant to everyday life rather than overly clinical. He places strong value on building warm, collaborative therapeutic relationships and works closely with clients to develop individualised, client-centred treatment plans that support meaningful and sustainable change.

Training

Jack completed his Master of Professional Psychology in 2025. As part of his postgraduate training, he undertook an intensive placement within a private psychiatry clinic. During this placement, he worked with adolescents, adults, and older adults experiencing anxiety, depression, PTSD, and other mood- and thought-related difficulties.

In addition to providing therapeutic support, Jack gained experience assisting with the administration of assessments for Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), further strengthening his assessment and
diagnostic exposure within a multidisciplinary clinical setting.
